    We cater for children aged 1 to 10 years and participate in the ECCE and CETS scheme.

    Absolute Angels was founded by the late Marie Jackson in 2002. The school is now owned and run by Marie's partner and three children.

     

    At Absolute Angels we are committed to providing a pre-school service of the highest standard. We are notified to and inspected by the HSE.

    Trained, motivated and friendly staff are the cornerstone of this service. The service encourages a strong teamwork approach to help build and support our shared objectives. Absolute Angels is committed to equal opportunity in employment.

    Absolute Angels provides an excellent service for up to 57 children and aims to provide the perfect environment for children to develop their social, personal and educational skills and learn through a planned Montessori and play based curriculum.

    Above all, your child’s welfare and your peace of mind is most important to us. We provide a warm, loving, home-from-home environment, where each child is treated with respect and will develop and learn as individuals while feeling safe and secure.

  • What We Do


     

    Pre-School

    Our teachers engage with Aistear, Early Child hood Curriculum Framework and Síolta, National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education in our two montessori rooms.


    Play Group Room ages 1 to 2.5

    In this room we support every child's language & communication skills and assist them in social situations and forming friendships and aim to provide for exploring and thinking opportunities.


    After School Care

    For children aged 5 to 12 years. The after school club includes:

    • - A pick up and drop off service.
    • - A supervised time for homework.
    • - A hot meal prepared onsite by our creche cook.
    • - Extra activities including arts & crafts, drama, music & dance and messy play.

    Búntas

    Our staff have completed the Búntas training course in order to provide the children in our care with physical education classes tailored to the early years.

    Respecting Different Classes

    Our staff have completed this training course in order to provide the children in our care with a sense of identity and belonging and to teach children about different types of cultures and how to respect these differences.

  • Our Staff

    We have a team of 12 staff who are fully qualified childcare practioners with awards that include B.A. in Early Education, Diplomas in Special Education, Montessori Theory and Practice and Childcare.

    We carefully select early years professionals who are optimistic, experienced and have a similar ethos to us when caring for children.

    Emma

    Emma is our Creche Manager. She has worked with us in Absolute Angels since 2008 and has experience in childcare since 2000.

    We have always appreciated Emma's dedication to strive to improve our service continuously since she began working with us. Emma adds a personal and friendly touch to her role as manager.

    Ruth

    Ruth

    Ruth started working with us a year ago as temporary manager to cover Emma's maternity leave. Ruth has experience working alongside children since 2004.

    Tricia

    Tricia

    Tricia is a playgroup leader and has worked in Absolute Angels since it opened its doors in 2002 and has over 10 years experience in childcare.

    Tricia has a child of her own. We admire Tricia's kindness most and her ability to brighten up any day with her happy, and cheerful smile.

    Yola

    Yola

    Yola is one of our playgroup leaders. She works with children aged one year to two and a half years. Yola has two children of her own.

    Yola has worked with us since 2006 and has gained 28 years experience working with children altogether. We have always admired her ability to communicate with children.

    Helen

    Helen is one of our Montessori Teachers and has worked in childcare since 1999.

    Helen has worked in Absolute Angels since 2003. We applaud Helen for her excellent teaching methods and her patient, gentle nature.

    Fiona

    Fiona

    Fiona has been working with children since 2007 and has spent all this time working here with us in Absolute Angels.

    Fiona has a pre-school aged child of her own. Fiona has an excellent sense of humour and she brings this with her to work every day. We commend Fiona for her efforts to make learning fun and each year when her pre-school students head off to big school it's clear for all to see that her fun approach to Montessori teaching works.

    Rachel has over three years experience in childcare and also has a child ofher own. We most admire Rachel's upbeat personality

    and her ability to incorporate this trait into her Montessori lesson planning.
